However, if you still would like to participate with a chip time, we have a 'no frills' option available:
  • For $20, register for age group awards (no finisher medal and no t-shirt).
  • Register in person on July 3 at Frisco Running Company (11 a.m. - 5 p.m.) or on-site in Simpson Plaza from 7 p.m  - 8:45 p.m.
Join us July 3 for our annual Hotter ‘n Firecrackers Glow 5K Run! Participants will light up the night as they race through Frisco Square sporting flashing LED lights and their brightest fluorescent gear. Immerse yourself in the mesmerizing ‘glow’ effect, energized by the beat of electronic music.The run begins at 9 p.m.
Hotter 'n Firecrackers Finisher Medal
Runners will receive LED armbands, a finisher medal, glow products, as well as an event t-shirt. During packet pick-up, runners are also eligible to receive a patriotic gift, courtesy of sponsor LuLaRoe. Winners (in each category) will receive a custom medal. 

New in 2018:


  • Get energized with great music in Simpson Plaza and along the course, provided by a professional DJ
  • Photographer DFW Axshion Shots will be on-site, taking professional race photos

Run both the Hotter ‘n Firecracker Glow Run and the Frosty 5K on Saturday, December 1, 2018 to receive the Challenge Medal.

The challenge medal will be awarded at the Frosty 5K after running both races.

Team Registration


Teams are welcome - Register in groups of four or more to receive a discount. Two team prizes will be awarded for "Largest Team" and "Most Creative".

**Dogs are welcome to participate alongside their owners in the Glow Run. However, according to the city's ordinance, all dogs must be on a leash and have up-to-date vaccinations. Runners racing with a canine companion will start the course at the rear of the pack of participants.
 

Dachshund Races


As if the bright lights and great music aren't enough ... don't miss the hilarious fun of our Dachshund Dash right before the 5K starts. It might not be the Kentucky Derby, but expect a nail-biter as these energetic little competitors chase the title of Top Dog in Frisco!
