Conserve Energy and Reduce Electricity Costs with New Advanced Meters from Oncor
Oncor will showcase its 1,000-square-foot Smart TexasSM Mobile Experience Center (MEC) at Frisco Freedom Fest. The exhibit educates visitors on Oncor’s installation of more than three million advanced digital meters in its Texas service areas by 2012. The MEC uses interactive kiosks and videos to show how the new advanced meters allow consumers to control their energy consumption, save on electricity costs and reduce their carbon footprint. Pick up a free CFL light bulb and other giveaways while you’re at Frisco Freedom Fest. For more information, visit www.smarttexas.com.

Frisco Community Bike Valet Service
Cyclists young and old can take advantage of the free Bicycle Valet service being offered all day at the Frisco Freedom Fest. Bring your bicycles, strollers and wagons to our location behind the Frisco City Hall (set up at the library book return). View the bike valet map.
Turn them over to the valet volunteers for secure storage and pick them up when you’re done with the fun. We’ll stand by your two-wheeled possessions and keep them safe and secure. Even if you don’t ride your bike this trip, watch for our group at future events.
Ride Safe, Ride Friendly!
