TH CELEBRATION
Calling all performers of all ages! Be a part of the magic this July 4
th
during the City of Frisco’s 7
th annual Frisco Freedom Fest. The City is now accepting
applications from performing artists wanting to appear on our Community Stage. The
stage will feature local entertainers willing to perform for free!
The top entertainers, selected by a committee, will delight the crowd beginning at 4 p.m.
on Wednesday, July 4 at City Hall Plaza. This year Frisco Freedom Fest begins at
Frisco Square for “Party in the Plaza”, which includes the Children’s Expo, Taste of
Frisco, Hometown Hero Exhibit and spreads out to include an ‘old fashioned fourth’ at
the Frisco Heritage Center. Our neighbors at Pizza Hut Park will host an MLS match at
6 p.m. between FC Dallas and the Kansas City Wizards followed by a concert on the
main stage. The evening concludes with a spectacular view of the biggest fireworks
show in all of North Texas!
Applications are available on the city’s Frisco Freedom Fest Web site at
www.friscofreedomfest.org.
The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Friday, June 13.
Applications must be submitted to the City of Frisco’s Communications Department,
